Great news! This morning as I was getting ready for my last class in graduate school (I would still love to get a PhD in Information Organization or Authority Control from the University of Maryland, but maybe when the kids are grown …) I found my knitting!
I swear I looked through this pile of clothes already but today it spit out my knitting! I should be done with my Deco Ribbon bag soon!
Then when I was looking for a pen in my car, d’oh, my camera! Of course BR still needs to set the printer up so that I can download pictures, but I have it at least.
I also started my Second Sock Syndrome sock. I am using my own handdyed yarn and the garter rib pattern from Sensational Knitted Socks. I hope I have enough dyed already because I’d hate to have to match up the “dye lot”. Luckily my pal and I have the same foot size so I can play around with it, and I think I’ll weigh the sock when it’s done and the remaining yarn and we’ll see how it goes. That one is due September 30, so I’ve got to get a move on! I think it’s the only deadline I have for a few months so I can “relax”!
