So along with the stress of my second Sockapaloooza sock to make and probably the only work I’ll get this year, I have to retake my Broker’s license tomorrow! But, you know, it does mean an all day “break” from the kids while I’m in Oakland all day.

Last time I was thinking I would go to the local tattoo shop, Temple Tattoo, for my break (last time it was like 3 hours, but it depends on how long you take on the first part), but I didn’t really get a chance to check out their reputation and/or copy my design, so I guess not this time (although I had better pass …).

Then I was thinking it would be perfect to be in Oakland with a break, because the TKGA Market is going on this weekend, then I thought I shouldn’t and can’t afford to buy more yarn, so I wouldn’t bother. Now this. If you are on a yarn diet, be forwarned, you will be encouraged to gorge.

    Sigh…I’m sure it’s a good thing that I can’t get out to WEBS for their 32nd anniversary sale (because, y’know, seeing the Harlot wouldn’t be fun or anything), but damn - the sockp0rn really makes me think I need some Koigu. Stat.

    Good luck with the broker’s test - I am sure you will do beautifully!
