I’m done!!! With sock #1, that is. Here’s my latest problem. I started the socks with size 2.5 dpns and was so worried the fabric wasn’t sturdy enough, so on Socknitters someone had suggested to go down a needle size for the foot. I went down to size 2 circs and liked the fabric of the sock, but now when I try on the sock the foot part fits fine and the top part is too baggy/loose. However, as I mentioned my sockpal has a larger foot than I do so I don’t know whether to repeat what I did on sock #1 for sock #2 or do the entire sock #2 on size 2 needles, praying the entire time I’ll finish *2* more socks by May 2nd so they match, or could at least send her two mismatching socks and tell her I’ll remake the one that doesn’t fit.
I don’t know what to do! Oh, why did I sign up for this? This is way more pressure than the Knitting Olympics, and you know how poorly I did that. (Uh, I didn’t finish on time …)

In the interests of time, I’d just do what you did on the first sock.
I’d second that. Also remember that if she has a bigger (wider?) foot, it may work for her if not on you… good luck! Don’t stress
I am going to be a copycat and say that I’d do the same thing as I did on the first sock. Hang in there!
I vote doing the exact same thing so that the two socks will match.
