Remember just a couple of days ago when I said I didn’t need any more new projects? Well, since I joined 200Socks and Sock a Month KAL, I figured I had better start some socks since they aren’t very quick. I decided right then and there, so I went to whatever I had in my living room (not where my yarn or patterns are stored, just where the new ones end up before they are shelved — contrary to the movie “Party Girl”, I don’t think any librarian would catalog their possessions, especially using the Dewey Decimal System), so I came up with the Peaks ‘n’ Valleys socks from Knit Socks! and since all my sock yarn was in IM’s room and he was sleeping, I ended up using some laceweight I had, doubled. The jury is still out on whether they will be wearable (read: comfortable) socks, but the pattern is fun and I enjoyed making custom stitch markers because I needed 8 small ones (for size 0 dpns) and I like them to match.
