So it’s official. I finished the front of A.Lo’s sweater and it is double the size of the back I screwed up! No wonder it took me forever to do the back. Anyway, I frogged half the back and am getting it finished up. Although it was his birthday on Monday so I had to give in and buy him another present today. I think I’ll give him this sweater for Christmas, because having a Dec. 5th birthday almost guarantees you’ll have a few combination birthday/Christmas presents. I hope to finish this sweater this weekend so I can move on to a new project.

Oh, and I got my fifth and final set of stitch markers. They are a gorgeous brown stone (I’m sure she told me what stone it was but I’ve forgotten) and I love them. They are really coming in handy since I have misplaced the ones I made to work on A.Lo’s sweater and they match the color even better than silver stars. I’ll take a picture of both of them (the sweater and its coordinating stitch markers) tomorrow.
