What a day! I think OR is finally getting to sleep at 9:30. And of course BR is at work so I had to get everyone to bed while attempting to keep them from waking each other up.
Before this evening I was having a great day, though! I made it to the doctor and will have another bone density test at some point soon which is a load off my mind. But it is official, I need to wean IM because of my bone density. No more babies or breastfeeding for me. It’s sad, but I suppose it has to happen sometime.
So I got back from the doctor to the delivery of my Peace Fleece bargain cone! I’m not sure if I like it or not. It’s more scratchy than I would like.
Then we went to pick up OR from school, and went off to have lunch and stop by home before picking DL from school. I came home to the most amazing sight — I had been RAKd!!! The lovely Zonda sent me the cutest stitch markers, knitting greeting cards, red and black yarn (both!) and the piece de resistance — a needle holder, complete with small size circular needle! (I tend to use that size the most.) I am and was so excited, not only by the package but by the homemade needle holder — Zonda must be a quilter too because it is a gorgeous quilted holder! Unfortunately my camera is off for the night but I promise to add a picture tomorrow.
I also finished sock one of my Twist Barbie socks. It is a bit big, but I wanted to do one more cable before doing the toe and plus they’re pretty much slipper socks anyway. I don’t even try to fit hand knit socks into my shoes, I just wear them around home during the winter. I had wanted to do more tonight but it’s been filled with dealing with kids.
(I lied — he’s still awake.)
