Okay, BR is at work and I’m wasting time between picking up OR and picking up DL at school, so here are some photos.
The Trendsetter yarn I bought at Tuesday Morning. It was kind of messy, but only $3 a ball.
The yarn I bought at Target for $1 a skein.
And finally, the unbelievably tiny stitch markers I got from my September stitch marker pal. These must have been so hard to make! I am expecting one more set for September so we’ll see what happens.
I am still off with Tivoli, but I’m getting there. I thought I was much farther than I was but for some reason I don’t have enough stitches. And I was actually counting my rows done on paper this time! All week I have told myself that I would go back to my Katrina Rib when I get to the next step on my Tivoli and it is just not happening!

it’s a good thing no one was looking at me. i kept touching the screen to feel your yarn. Those are some good buys.
The stitchmarkers you got rock. That blue bead is really funky.
So what are you making with the Lara. I’m making the fiery bolero from interweave knits summer 05. got plenty of time in the coming 2 weeks. i hope i can finish it. in time for winter… figures. but i love knitting with it, it behaves really well.
how ’bout you. what are you making with it?
Wow! You were able to find purple yarn at Tuesday Morning? The best color I got was a dusty blue.
I was lucky with the yarn, since I didn’t like any of the other stuff, and this purple Trendsetter is really interesting, and cheap. The other stuff was $5-6 a ball and not worth it. Poor me, I’m in downtown San Mateo every Wed. so I “have” to stop in and check out their yarn selection!
The stitch markers are just tiny! I really need to make some socks now!
I’m using my Lara to make Tivoli, as far as it works out. We’ll see. It is so smooth and shiny, I really like the look of it!
