Not one stitch of knitting done today. I did lug my knitting to the park, and attempt to determine how many stitches my Tivoli is supposed to have right now, but no actual knitting done. That being said, we had a great party for IM’s first birthday. Way too much cake, though. And I had done so well at Weight Watchers yesterday. That was before the inadvertent free for all that happened after I went to the party yesterday that didn’t have any cake. New Rule: no birthdays without cake. Even crappy cake. It just makes you want to make up for the lack of cake, and I sure did.

I can agree with you about the cake. It makes you feel like you missed out on something right? That’s the way it makes me feel, if I don’t have any. If I don’t have any I try to make up for it the next day or so.

No cake is just sacrilege! Glad IM had a great birthday!
