Just a quick swatch update, since I got work from both of my jobs today and I’m still sick and exhausted so I should go to bed soon. This morning I was all gung ho to swatch with the one skein of Noro Cash Iroha that I have and was just about to spend $80 on more so I could potentially make an, albeit gorgeous, tank that I just might be too inexperienced to finish and/or might not look good on me to begin with. So as I’m swatching that yarn and almost buying more I realize, duh, Silk Garden! It is a “Silk Corset Tank”, and I do have 10 skeins of Noro Silk Garden in my stash, now, ready to go. So that’s what I’ve been up to today. I already moved up from size 6 to size 7 (even though the size 6 needles in my Boye Needlemaster matched the yarn better ;) ) and we’ll see how it goes. I suspect I will have to move up to an 8 but at this point work beckons. Maybe I can even lose some of the baby weight before I finish this project! Luckily I live in a relatively mild climate (Northern California, which ends up on the colder side usually, but our city is in a great sub-climate that is usually not too hot and not too cold) so whenever I finish I can potentially wear it.

Fine, I’ll go back to work now. Researching Maryland real estate and transcribing market research. Woo hoo!
