Here’s the beginning of my A Good Bias shrug from IK. Right now I’m making it on Knitpicks’ Shine yarn, size 5 needles. So far it’s going well but I have a lot of work left to screw up the lace! At least there aren’t too may pattern repeats on each row.

Elspeth, the shrug looks beautiful so far. I messed up in the second repeat and was fine from then on. Once you get the hang of the pattern, you know immediately when you’ve messed up. Stitch markers every 10 stitches help a lot, be careful of stitches wanting to hop over the stitch markers though. :)

It is looking very nice! I’m about as far along as you. LOL! I’m curious - how wide is your sleeve? I had to tear mine out once because I didn’t get gauge but even now that I appear to have gauge, it looks awful wide for a sleeve.
