Happy birthday!
I can spin on a drop spindle while on a stationary bike, so you may be able to knit while working out. Stranger things have happened.

That fancy brunch in Half Moon Bay sounds awesome. I left the Bay Area so many years ago and want to move back SOOOO bad. I currently live in NH, so maybe you can understand why. I'm new to blogger.com and am a knitter myself. May I ask, have you heard of a stitch called kitchener? How do you do it or can you direct me to a book, website, etc.??? Thanks!
