Got to love winter. All three of my boys (not counting DH) are sick. It has been a long weekend because of it. Last night we had all of them up at least once, and usually two at a time. It was hard, and I’m already sleep deprived. But today I got to do one fun thing — I went to a workshop on crochet edgings at Knitting Arts in Saratoga. I learned to crochet first, when I was 10 or younger, but I don’t remember much of it. I might use some of the things I learned on my knitting projects, but a lot of the crochet patterns are really “grandmotherly” so I won’t use many, I don’t think — until I become a grandmother, maybe.

I’m still working on my baby blanket, and enjoying the fan and feather stitch so far. I am also starting some baby socks for DS3, since I have so much sock yarn. Not that I don’t have plenty of projects in the works but I am enjoying my own socks so much since it has gotten colder that I’m thinking about socks a lot more now.

Since all of the kids are asleep early I really should work on my real estate classes. If I’m lucky I’ll be able to convince my mother in law to watch DS2 and DS3 this spring so I can take one more class for my degree (I have four left, after three years in a one year program) so I’d better get the real estate stuff out of the way when I can. I have been in flux for the past 8 weeks with recovering from my 3rd c-section (my wound _still_ hasn’t healed completely) and working for 6 weeks for my mom while caring for 3 kids. No wonder I’m tired.

That stinks about your incision. Mine just closed up this week and I thought THAT was bad - now I wont complain. I’m so impressed by all your WIP’s. I can barely work on one thing!
